YouTube Space Rio

YouTube Space Rio is the creative space for YouTube creators in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. It is located in the city's old port, in a warehouse that was once used to store coffee beans. The space has three recording studios, two classrooms, a cafe, a meeting room, and editing rooms. It also has a green screen room, a podcasting studio, and a broadcasting room.

Designed to celebrate the local creative heritage of Rio and Brazil, several local elements abound and have been transformed through the lens of YouTube's unique style. Traditional Mud Bowls become the basis for a large format video artwork. Humble floors proudly adorn the lobby floors, where sound baffles represent the multiple skin tones of all Brazillian communities.
